Men in Trees is such a fun, heartfelt series.  It can be silly and a bit formulaic, but it really is funny and those formulas always come with a twist.  Most surprisingly though, I find the angst affecting.  It's a show centered around a relationship expert who's relocated to a remote, quirky Alaskan town, so there must be romantic heartbreak along ( Read more... )

Why are the strong, interesting female characters disappearing from the TV shows I watch?

First it was Agent Elle Greenaway in "Criminal Minds."  Now Sara from "Men in Trees" is gone (or at least I assume so since Suleka Mathew's name is no longer in the opening credits).  Will this become an unfortunate pattern?
